Notes and Safety Banjo boltsIn our store we mainly carry banjo bolts for motorcycle and scooter brakes.Banjo bolts perform an important function in brakes: they connect the hose to the brake components. The screws have a hole so that the brake fluid can circulate in the hose between the brake parts of an hydraulic brake system (caliper or master cylinder / brake pump).CAUTION: Banjo bolts must be installed with TWO special gaskets located on both sides of the hose connection! Once they start leaking, you won't be able to brake properly.You should also consider the diameter (8, 10 or 12 mm) and the required pitch (1.00 or 1.25).The tightening torque is usually between 15 and 25 Nm.
