Powerjets support the carburetor performance at full load, i.e. when the slide is fully open and at high RPMs, an additional jet sprays fuel into the carburetor to prevent the mixture from leaning at high engine speeds. Even when using a smaller main jet, the Powerjet system prevents the fuel-air mixture from becoming too lean. The zero jet can be used to shut down the PowerJet channel.
