Description Malossi secondary gear 13/48 piaggio from 1998This Malossi secondary gear set (13/48) fits all Piaggio 2-stroke engines from year 1998 onwards. The set includes a 17.7 mm shaft with a smooth end (17 mm diameter).A longer gear ratio allows the engine to transfer its power more effectively — but only if the engine provides enough performance to handle it. On heavily tuned setups, this kind of gearing delivers a clear advantage. It's not recommended for use with stock engines.Installation Note: The original large gear must be pressed onto the Malossi secondary shaft.
